Your Impact
As our Director/VP of Client Success, you will be the driving force behind building a high performing client success engine. This is a unique opportunity to act as a "player/coach"—you'll not only shape the strategy and lead our team, but you'll also get your hands dirty by directly managing and growing some of our most important accounts. You’ll bring a deep understanding of Optiwatt’s solutions and support Optiwatt in maximizing the value we generate for our utility clients.
What You’ll Do
- Develop the Playbook: Within your first six months, you will design, document, and implement an easy-to-replicate client success motion that achieves optimal client outcomes, setting the foundation for our future growth.
- Boost Client Health: Take ownership of our client health system to ensure the team consistently maintains an average client health score of 90% or higher by actively achieving success criteria and improving client sentiment.
- Ignite Revenue Growth: Lead the CS team to identify and close 50% of the Commercial team's quota retirement goal via existing account renewals and expansions.
- Optimize Profitability: Create a more efficient, self-service-oriented Client Success team, reducing the time other departments (e.g., engineering, product) spend on client-specific requests by 75% within six months.
- Build a Winning Team: Coach, mentor, and empower the team to perform at their best.
About You
We are looking for candidates with at least 5+ years in a Client Success leadership role and 2+ years in the Managed Charging / Demand Response space.

You know how to resource and support clients, create strategic account plans, set up CS systems, and navigate a pipeline through all stages. You can create winning presentations and facilitate meetings that drive clear outcomes.
- Thinks Strategically: You can create thoughtful account plans to strategically grow our business with limited resources, utilizing data analytics to provide key insights and inform business decisions.
- Is a Natural Seller: You possess the ability to influence different types and levels of prospects and clients to win hearts and minds and buy our solution, all while building strong, trusting relationships.
- Has Deep Industry Knowledge: You deeply understand the Managed Charging / Demand Response space and how to interact with clients within it. You can effectively articulate Optiwatt's solution, business, and unique value proposition.
